One of the country’s biggest and fastest-growing fitness centers, Planet Fitness, is inviting members and non-members alike the chance to de-stress amid tax season for a handful of days this April.
In a promotion running from April 15-18, the final days for most Americans to file their taxes for 2022, Planet Fitness said it will provide a free workout and HydroMassage at any of its more than 2,200 locations in the U.S.
HydroMassage, typically reserved for the gym’s Black Card holders, massages the body with traveling jets that move up and down the body in wave-like streams of heated water, Planet Fitness said.
Users are able to select exact points where they would like to concentrate the massage as well as the desired pressure and speed, it added.
“Tax season is a stressful time of year, and Planet Fitness is here to help everyone relax, unwind and feel good with a free workout and HydroMassage,” said Jeremy Tucker, chief marketing officer at Planet Fitness, in a release.
“Exercise can help lift your mood, reduce the risk of anxiety and depression and improve sleep – so put yourself first this tax season and experience all that the Judgement Free Zone has to offer,” Tucker added.
Those who wish to take part in the free limited-time offer are asked to visit the Planet Fitness website to access a coupon to redeem in-club. Members and non-members can find their nearest club here.
The offer applies to anyone 18 years or older with a valid ID.
Planet Fitness was founded in 1992 in Dover, New Hampshire with locations in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico as well as a handful of other countries such as Canada and Mexico.
There are six locations in Boston as well as two in Worcester.
