CrossFit gyms finds ways to stay afloat during COVID-19 pandemic

FREMONT —  The COVID-19 pandemic introduced a great deal of disappointment for bars and places to eat, but the health field also felt the sting of shutdowns and limits.

Many fitness centers had been closed for 3 months or extended owing to the pandemic that was spreading like wildfire in Ohio all through spring and slide.

When his fitness center was forced to close March 16, 2020, Tom Cost was disappointed he did not have an chance to make that choice himself. When the doorways to CrossFit 1926 remained shut, Cost rented out products for users to use for residence routines.

“We experienced a decide on-up working day where folks could occur in and get everything they needed that we had in our gym. We just signed it out, we set down who it was [and] what they have been acquiring so we understood when they brought it back again we were being getting all the things that they took,” Cost reported. “They were being using dumbbells, kettlebells, med balls, bikes, rowers— anything at all they get their fingers on striving to do one thing at dwelling.”
