China is following the ‘Zero Covid Policy’. In view of the corona infection spread in Shanghai, china’s largest city, the government of the Communist Party of China has imposed a strict lockdown in the entire city. Meanwhile, videos of people unhappy with the strict corona lockdown have surfaced in which individuals can be heard shouting in their apartments. Many such videos are coming out on social media in which people can be seen fighting with local officials. People are warning that such a harsh lockdown could have serious consequences.
China has completely closed Shanghai since April 5 to prevent the spread of the infection under its strict corona policy. 26 crore people in the city have been confined to their homes. Dr Eric Feigle-Ding, a well-known health expert from the US, tweeted some videos from Shanghai. He tweeted the video and wrote that from the apartment, the Chinese people are shouting in the local dialect Shanghai.
